Our school focus for Learning and Teaching next term is assessment but I thought I would get the ball rolling early by drawing your attention to this article about assessment and the ‘taxonomy of errors’. Although the author writes using examples from A-level teaching, there is much that could be applied further down the school. If you do have a go at incorporating this in your lessons, share the results with your LTC at the next meeting where we set the new half-termly focus.
