Claire has shared her PDC reflections from the music department’s use of tier 2 vocabulary:

In music we have been embedding Tier 2 Vocabulary into our schemes of work. As we use iBooks with KS3 we took advantage of the ‘Glossary’ section to help us do this. This means that students always have access to this vocabulary at home and in school when needed. When terms are used throughout the book these can be linked to the glossary so that students can easily look up the words for themselves and find out the meaning and the etymology.
