In Performing Arts, we have been focussing on KS3 thresholds and how we use these in our lessons. This has enabled us to focus on two specific characteristics of academic excellence:
In Music, our work with thresholds is going to be ongoing as we improve our iBooks. We are focussing on success criteria and ensuring these are more firmly in line with the threshold statements. This will then in turn make our assessment more rigorous.
Our current Year 7 iBook shows the work in progress as we have made changes to the success criteria as well as giving an example for students so they can see what each level of response would look like.
